Breast Cancer Month – October
As many of your will already know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So, in order to support and raise awareness, I’ll be running a special offer on a treatment, plus posting videos and blogs that highlight other charities, organisations and brands also supporting this really important cause.
Raising Money for Cancer Research UK during October for Breast Cancer Month.
I’ve already posted separately about this (HERE), but as a little recap – I’m running an offer on one of my Chrysalis Signature Facials, where you’ll get a FREE enzyme peel worth £30 and I’ll donate £10 from every one of these treatments to Cancer Research UK. You can also watch the video here:
Spotlight on Charities, Brands and Organisations
I will also be running a series of blogs and videos that highlight other organisations that support cancer patients during Breast Cancer Month – October.
Of course I was always going to start with the amazing Look Good Feel Better cancer charity, which I have been a part of for three years now. I am the Regional Coordinator for Basingstoke and Winchester and run workshops bi-monthly at each hospital. These workshops are FREE to ladies* who are going through cancer treatment and for one-year post treatment. We are in over 150 hospitals nationwide, so I am sure you will find a location that suits you!
Here’s a little video that explains a bit more about Look Good Feel Better. You can also click HERE to read my previous blog post, or visit www.lookgoodfeelbetter.co.uk for more information.
AND…if YOU are a Beauty Therapist or Makeup Artist and would like to volunteer (you’ll love it, I promise!), then please get in touch. We are always looking for more lovely volunteers to join us.
* Look Good Feel Better also run workshops for men and teens that are going through treatment. These sessions aren’t available at every location, so please check the website to find out more.
Please keep an eye and ear out over October, during Breast Cancer Month – I’ll be sharing lots of information that will help ladies (and men) going through treatment.
With kindest regards, Nikki x
