Suburban Turban

Chemo Hats – beautiful soft hats by Suburban Turban! These are the creation of a wonderful Milliner called Nicola Smetham.  Well known for her beautiful creations and statement hats and head pieces, she was approached and asked to create a range of hats for ladies going through chemotherapy.

So she did exactly that!   Nicola carefully created hats that were beautiful to look at, but are also comfortable, soft and cut slightly more generously to disguise hair loss.  Rather than the standard plain hats or headscarves that have typically been available for patients, Nicola created a range that are bright and vibrant, with plenty of character.  They are also incredibly soft, which is so important for ladies during treatment.

I can’t tell you how delighted I was to discover Nicola and her wonderful range of products!  When I hold Look Good Feel Better workshops for ladies going through cancer treatment – the question of head wear ALWAYS comes up! The ladies in the workshops continually tell me that the head wear available in unattractive and uncomfortable to wear – which really affects their confidence and how they are feeling on a daily basis.  There has been a gap in the market for fashionable, yet soft head wear for ladies going through treatment for a long time now.   I’m now so pleased to be able to tell them about Suburban Turban’s Chemo Hat range.  This range is very popular, and with good reason.  Click HERE to view the gorgeous range.
