Have you struggled to find effective rosacea treatment? I’m pleased to tell you that there are effective ways to treat and manage your symptoms, both in the short and long term. Discover how you to improve your skin and regain your confidence.
What is Rosacea?
Do you suffer redness, flushing or inflamed skin on your face? If so, then you’re not alone. Rosacea is an inflammatory skin condition affects 1 in 20 people.
Rosacea is an inflammatory skin condition that affects both men and women, although it has been found to be more common in fair skinned women. Rosacea is often misdiagnosed, which is why you may have found that the treatments or products that you have tried haven’t worked. The cause of rosacea isn’t known and what triggers your flare ups will be different from someone else’s. What I can tell you is that diet, stress and lifestyle play a part in causing inflammation in your skin. As part of your skin consultation, I will carry out a full review of your lifestyle and assess your skin, so we can can ensure that you have a bespoke program that focus on reducing and managing your symptoms for the long term.
Symptoms of Rosacea
You may find that your rosacea symptoms come and go? Have you found that certain things made your skin worse, or better? It’s worth keeping a record of any increased symptoms you may have. It may be that stress is your trigger, or perhaps a food intolerance. These are all things that we will discuss at your consultation. I have a holistic approach to treating your skin, as I believe in an ‘outside in and inside out’ approach, to ensure you achieve the best results possible both now and in the future.
My Lyton 3Juve laser has a special place in my heart. It has an answer for pretty much everything, and is a fantastic rosacea treatment. You may have found that there are very few treatments on the market for rosacea, due to the inflammatory nature of the condition. So I am really delighted to be able to offer an effective treatment to help you manage your symptoms and achieve the skin your desire.
The Lynton 3Juve laser is one of the most effective and safe lasers available in the industry. They have incredibly high standards and produce exceptional results, which is why they are my laser of choice. With over 25 years experience, it’s easy to see why they are the industry leader. They are so good that our own NHS use their lasers in clinical practice.
LED Light Therapy
I am a big fan of LED Light Therapy treatments. In my opinion this is an underrated and under used within the industry.
LED Light Therapy involves different wavelengths that penetrate the skin and have an effect at a cellular level. This is deeper than any products can go. This treatment is very versatile and can be used to treat a number of skin concerns. Red Light Therapy is fantastic for collagen stimulation, wound healing and overall skin regeneration, whilst Green Light Therapy is highly effective at reducing further inflammation and pigmentation in the skin.
LED Light Therapy is something I often combine with other treatments, as there is no down time and no side effects. This is what makes it perfect for treating your rosacea, as there is no surface irritation to your skin.
Chemical Skin Peels
Chemical Skin Peels might seem like an unlikely treatment for rosacea, but they can actually be incredibly effective at reducing inflammation, calming your skin and helping to restore your skins natural barrier function.
Please don’t be put off by the term ‘chemical peel’, many of today’s skin peels are derived from natural ingredients, such as sugar cane, almonds and good old red wine! Click below to find out more.
Rosacea treatment plans should include nutritional advice, in my opinion. It’s all very well treating the symptoms, but it’s important to address the causes too. You may have found that certain foods or alcohol trigger your symptoms? Food intolerance’s are the cause of flare ups for many of my clients, so you’re not alone if this is the case for you.
We will look at your diet and identify simple changes that you can make to improve the quality of your skin and help you feel more energised and energetic.
As a Nutritional Therapist, I take a holistic approach when it comes to nutrition. We will explore potential foods that you may be intolerant to and look at where you may benefit from adding in a supplement to reduce inflammation. Both curcurmin (turmeric) and Rejuvenated’s Skin Perfecting Complex capsules are very effective for inflammation.
We can explore simple changes you can make that you will be able to sustain for the long term.
If we agree that you may have food allergies or intolerance’s that require specialist knowledge and support, I can refer you to my colleague Kaye, who is a registered Nutritionist.
Like nutrition, your rosacea treatment plan will include advice on how to reduce stress, improve sleep and generally reduce inflammation in your system. Your lifestyle plays a huge part in the quality of your skin. Factors that fall into ‘lifestyle’ include where you live, where you work, your hobbies and activities, stress levels, sleep quality and the environment you’re in.
You may find that your rosacea symptoms. We will look at the key areas that are affecting your skin and well being and find ways to make simple, sustainable and powerful changes. This may be through the products you’re using, or discovering ways to improve your sleep and reduce stress levels.
Have you found that some products irritate your skin? Rosacea is an inflammatory condition, which can make your skin very sensitive. Using gentle products that help to repair and strengthen your skin will help to reduce and manage your symptoms. The wrong products are likely to irritate and inflame your skin.
The products and treatments that I recommend for you will depend on the results from your pre-consultation questions and your consultation.
I will take into account your skin type, skin conditions, lifestyle, health, diet & nutrition and also your skin goals. I should point out right here, that whilst your Skinblissology program is focused around achieving your skin goals, it is also a program that will help you to improve your overall well being, helping you glow inside and out.
I will make recommendations for your skincare products, which are simple & sustainable, with that luxury we all love and deserve. It’s important to me to provide a skincare range that is both reasonably priced and results driven, which is what I have found with Katherine Daniels Skincare and Cosmedix.
We will also discuss clinic treatments that will help you to achieve your skincare goals, together with at home tools and treatments that you can use too.

How can I help you?
I have been passionate about skin (read ‘obsessed’) for the best part of a decade. Whilst I love products & treatments, I know that there is a lot more to beautiful skin than these alone.
As a qualified Nutritional Therapist, I know that what you put into your body is equally as powerful and effective as what you put onto your skin.
I have also personally experienced many skin challenges during my stressful corporate career and in more recent years, hormone related skin issues. So I have experienced first hand the effects of stress, insomnia, poor nutrition and hormone imbalances – and it’s not fun is it!
My goal is to help you to manage your skin, improve your well-being and energy levels, plus learn how to look after your skin for the long term, in a simple, sustainable way – with that little bit of luxury that we all deserve!
I know that sometimes the thought of making changes to our routines and lifestyle can be daunting, but I promise you there’s nothing radical here, it’s about helping you to create small, incremental changes for the long term. I have nearly 15 years experience as a coach, helping individuals to achieve their goals, so rest assured I will be there to help you through your transformation.
