TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WEBSITE USAGE
Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Chrysalis’s relationship with you in relation to this website. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.
The term ‘Chrysalis’ or ‘Chrysalis by Nikki Butler’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is 69 Tilney Close, Alton, Hampshire, GU34 2BG. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.
Appointment and Booking Terms & Conditions
Appointments: Please be aware that you will need to come to your appointment alone. I am not able to have guests or children in the Clinic, due to Health & Safety and licencing rules.
Late arrivals: If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, then I may not be able to treat you. If you are booked in for a facial treatment, then your treatment may be able to go ahead, but your treatment time will be limited to your appointment slot. You will still be charged full price for your treatment.
If you are more than 15 minutes late for a tattooing appointment then I may not be able to treat you. It’s important to ensure that I have enough time to complete your treatment to a high standard. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment then I may need to reschedule your treatment. You will be charged in full for the treatment you had booked and you will not be able to re-book until payment has been made.
Bookings: Bookings can be made online via Chrysalis by Nikki Butler booking system. Not all available appointments are shown online, so if you can’t find an appointment slot that suits you, please contact me directly.
Booking fees are taken in order to secure your appointment with me. I am a small business owner, and last minute cancellations and no-shows have significant impact on my business. Booking fees ensure that my time is protected, and that your appointment is secured for you.
You can also book over the telephone via me (Nikki Butler) and my PA Jill. If you book online then you will pay your booking fee or full treatment cost at the time of booking. If you are booking over the telephone, then you will be sent an invoice, or telephoned to make payment over the phone. Booking fees need to paid within 24 hours in order to secure your appointment.
A non-refundable booking fee of £75.00 is required to secure all medical and cosmetic tattooing appointments (excludes micro needling scar appointments over 2 hours and scalp micropigmentation)
A non-refundable booking fee of £100.00 is required for micro needling scar appointments over 2 hours long.
A non-refundable booking fee of £250.00 is required for all scalp micropigmentation procedures.
Your booking fee will be deducted from the cost of your treatment. If you cancel your appointment, your booking fee will not be refunded to you.
If you move your appointment with less than 4 working days notice then your booking fee is non-transferable and you will be required to pay a further booking fee to secure another appointment.
Booking fees are payable at the time of booking, if booking online. If you book over the telephone then your booking fee needs to be paid within 24 hours in order to secure your appointment.
Payment methods
Credit/Debit cards, Bank Transfer, Cash and ApplePay. (I do not accept American Express or Business Credit cards).
Please note that I do not accept cheques or Paypal payment.
Payment is due on the day of your treatment. If you are paying via Bank Transfer, then please advise me in advance and I will send you an invoice. Payment will need to have been received by me before your treatment.
BUPA or private medical insurance: If you are booking for medical areola procedures as part of your breast cancer treatment, then please advise me at the time of booking. I am BUPA recognised and my BUPA provider number is 30037551. Please ensure that your procedure is pre-authorised and you have your membership number and authorisation number. Other medical insurers will usually cover my procedures, but you will likely have to pay upfront and claim back from your insurer directly.
Cancellation Policy
I know that sometimes life gets in the way and things don’t always go to plan! However, please be aware that I do have a strict cancellation policy. This applies too all of my treatments, including those that form part of a package or VIP membership. This is for two reasons, Firstly; I am self employed and if I don’t work, I don’t get paid. By giving me notice that you are unable to attend your appointment, it gives me the opportunity to fill the appointment slot. Secondly; I gift a set number of hours to charity each month, so if I have wasted hours and lost income, it directly affects what I am able to gift over the following month.
I ask that you provide 4 working days notice if you are unable to make your appointment. This excludes weekends and bank holidays, as I do not work those. Cancellation charges are as follows;
50% of the full treatment fee for all tattooing treatments that are a 2 treatment package.
100% of the full treatment fee for all single tattooing treatments and all micro needling treatments.
100% of the full treatment fee of all Meso digital skin needling, microneedling, RF Microneedling, HIFU and Hyaluronic Filler treatments.
If you have already paid for two treatments as part of your treatment package, then you will be required to pay 50% of the total treatment cost to re-arrange your appointment. You will need to pay this before another appointment is made for you.
If your treatments form part of a VIP Monthly Membership or treatment package, then the missed or cancelled treatment will de deducted from your package/membership and you will need to pay for the treatment in full, should you wish to complete your course of treatment. If if this is part of your VIP Membership, you can choose to pay for another treatment, or miss that month.
Additional treatments and refunds
Should you require an additional treatment that is not included in your treatment package, an additional charge will apply. All follow up procedures must be completed in the timescales given for your treatment plan. Any treatments not taken within this time may require either an extended session or an additional treatment, which will carry an additional charge.
Refunds are not offered on any treatments provided. We go through a thorough consultation process during your treatment, where I check that you are happy at each stage. So I am confident you will be delighted with the outcome.
Right to refuse Service
I reserve the right to refuse service if I do not feel that it is suitable or appropriate to treat you. It is important that we are a right fit for each other. I will refuse treatment under the following circumstances (included, but not limited to):
* If you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
* If you are under 18 years of age, or you are unable to produce ID to prove your age.
* Any aggressive behaviour or rudeness will not be accepted.
* If you have a contraindication or health condition that means you are unsuitable for treatments.
* If there have been multiple cancellations or any payment issues previously.
* If I believe or discover any dishonest practice is or has taken place, such as someone who has attempted to obtain professional services without paying or has used social media in an abusive and damaging way.
VIP Memberships
VIP memberships are for a minimum 12 month period. When you sign up to your membership programme, you are committing to a minimum 12 month subscription plan. If you are on the Plump & Glow Silver or Gold Membership plans, you can cancel with one months notice, after your initial 12 months. If you are on the Plump & Glow Platinum membership, then you are renewing for a further 12 months, this is because of the costs of your treatments are spread out across 12 months.
If your circumstances change and you move away, or you are unable to continue due to ill health, then please let us know. You will be able to cancel your membership, but will be required to pay any balance for treatments that you have already had, if the fees have not been covered by your monthly subscription. Please note that no refunds will be made for any memberships payments.
You have a 14 day cooling off period with your membership. This means that you can cancel your membership at any point within the first 14 days, and a full refund will be given for your first months membership. For this reason, you will not be able to have any treatments until until after this 14 day period, and any products included within your package will not be given to you until after this time.
Please note that your membership treatments are non-transferable, so you cannot pass these to anyone else to use. All treatments must be taken on a monthly basis and cannot be carried over. Treatments hold no separate value and cannot be offset against products.
Treatment Packages
If you have paid for a treatment package then all of your treatments must be taken within the specified time for your package. You cannot carry over any unused treatments for a later date, and treatments cannot be transferred to anyone else. Any unused treatments will be lost and no refunds made in respect of treatments not used.

VIP Memberships
All memberships are for a minimum of 12 months.
There is a 14 day cooling off period, where you can cancel your membership and any payments made will be refunded in full to you.
Treatments will not start until after the 14 day cooling off period has passed.
Any products included within your membership package will not be given to you until after the 14 cooling off period.
Discounts that form part of your VIP Membership will not start until after the 14 day cooling off period.
All standard terms and conditions apply to all treatments, including late cancellations, no shows and refund policy.
If you cancel your monthly payment before 12 months has passed, then you will be required to pay a £150.00 cancellation fee and the cost of any treatments that have been taken, but not paid for in full will be due.
After 12 months, you may cancel your membership with 1 months notice (with the exception of the Platinum VIP Membership).
Platinum VIP membership runs for a 12 month period only, and news for another 12 months at the end of each term.
Your treatments are non transferable and must be taken on a monthly basis. Treatments cannot be carried forward into the following month(s).

Purchases of products and supplements made through the website.
If you wish to return products or supplements purchased via the website, then please notify us within 14 days of your purchase by emailing nikki@nikkibutler.co.uk. Al items must be returned to us in the their full, original packaging, must be unused and with no damage to the boxes or packaging. We will not cover return postage, and you will need to arrange this yourself. All items must be received by Nikki Butler Skin Clinic no later than 28 days after your initial postage.
In the unlikely event that your items return damaged, please take photographs and email them to use at the above email address. We will require the items to be sent back to us, and we will refund reasonable postage costs. We will then replace your items.
Complaints procedure
As we go through a full consultation process both before and during your treatment, I am confident that you will love your results. However, if you are not happy with your treatment then please notify me in the following way:
