Scars and Burn
I don’t usually post medical pictures of scar work, due to the sensitive nature of the treatments. However, my client has asked me to share her story and pictures with you.
I met my client in March 2018, when she came for a consultation for her 40+ year old burn scar. She had had a number of skin grafts and had been told some years ago that nothing more could be done. She had also incorrectly been told that this was keloid scarring. It isn’t keloid, it is hypertrophic scarring, which is very typical of a burn scar.
Burn scar tissue is exceptionally fragile. I had to be very careful not to over traumatise the skin, as that could cause more damage. Over the course of a year we have used a combination of digital skin needling (Advanced Meso Plus) and the MCA scar treatment (dry tattooing/micro needling). I carried out treatments 5-6 weeks apart over the course of the year – and this is where we are now! My client is continuing with treatment, as her skin is still responding well after each session.
The quality of the skin is so much better, its softer, more supple and doesn’t have the tightness that it had at the start of the treatment. The visual difference is clear to see. However, the real benefit is the difference in how my client FEELS!
I was absolutely over the moon to receive a picture at the end of last year of my client sipping a cocktail on holiday in a SUNDRESS!! She had never worn a sun top, sundress or vest top as she was too self conscious about her scarring. She later went on to have a holiday with friends at Christmas, where she was happy to be in a bikini and wear sundresses, without feeling conscious. How amazing is that!!

My MCA Scar Treatment and Meso
I’d like to share my own scar treatment photo’s with you. I’ve had one out of three treatments so far and I am delighted with the results. I am very excited to see the results after my 2nd treatment on the 10th June.
There are also a couple of pictures of the amazing results with the new Advanced Meso-Plus facial treatment and Cell Biologique range.
