Global Goals - What are they all about?

Have you heard of the Global Goals? They are also called the 17 sustainable development goals too. They are a set of 17 goals that were created by the United Nations, with the aim to help make the world a better place.

The 17  goals cover many important areas for us, and our planet. They include things like ending world poverty and hunger, providing clean water and sanitation for all, and protecting our beautiful planet and environment.

They also cover improvement to education, healthcare, and gender equality. The idea behind the Global Goals is to bring us ALL together, to work as a global community to solve some of the biggest problems facing our world today.  We can all play a role, and make a difference.

Think of the Global Goals as a giant to-do list for the whole world, with the aim to make sure we are taking care of ourselves and each other. Kinda nice, right? To feel a part of a global effort and team!

Global Goals & Skin

Whilst there is HUGE value is ALL of the Global goals, I have chosen to align myself with Goal Number 3 – which focuses on promoting well-being, and Goal number 12, which focuses on sustainable consumption and production patterns.

Not only do these two Global Goals help improve the lives of you, as my client, but they also contribute to a better future for all of us.

By focusing on promoting well-being through treating scars and skin conditions, I am able to help you feel confident in your skin and improve your mental well-being. And by helping you to choose products that are right for you, we are supporting the goal for sustainable consumption and production.

I am super keen to play a part in reducing waste and having a positive environmental impact, which benefits everyone. Isn’t it amazing, that by joining forces, you can achieve your skin goals, AND positively impact our planet!

Are you feeling inspired?

Do you need a little something to inspire you in joining me on my quest to contribute towards Global Goals 3 and 12?  Maybe this little poem I co-created will help…..

Let’s make sure all are healthy and strong
Global goal number three, where we belong
Let’s work on our happiness and boost mental health
Where we focus on kindness and not monetary wealth

Let’s also focus on goal number twelve
Where sustainable consumption is where we delve
Reducing waste and being kind to the earth
Is what will give our planet a new birth

We can all play a part in this grand scheme
With responsible consumption, it’s not just a dream
Let’s make responsible choices and have in our mind
The impact on the environment, let us be kind.

So let’s unite and take a stand
To move towards a better land
Let’s make the Global Goals 3 and 12 our mission
And let them guide our skin decisions

It’s not just for governments or big firms
But for each and every one of us to take turns
So let’s make a change, let’s make it happen
And be proud of the impact of each positive action.

Why Being A Force For Good Matters

I’ve always felt very strongly that I wanted to go far beyond the results I achieve in my clinical practice. I truly wanted to have a business that feels like it’s a force for good. The Global Goals have really helped me connect with how we can work together, can do this.

I am passionate about promoting well-being and responsible consumption, and I believe that by working together, we can make a positive impact on both your skin and the planet.

Are you ready to join me? Together, we can work on transforming your scars and skin conditions, which can have a positive impact on your confidence and mental well-being. And by making informed, responsible choices for products and treatments, we can reduce waste and environmental impact, which benefits everyone.  And, lets not forget you’ll get amazing results too!

Global Goals + Skin Goals

Doesn’t it feel good to know you’re a part of something much bigger? That you’re contributing towards HUGE global goals, whilst getting the results you want?

I really became invested in the Global Goals, after one of my incredible business coaches, Daniel Priestley, inspired me to connect with how I could make a difference, in a much bigger way.

Ever since entering this industry in 2013, I was always focused on the mental well being of my clients. I have also always supported my clients in choosing skin care products wisely, and working only with brands that have a strong social policy, and empathetic environmental strategies and policies.

I absolutely love that we can work together, to help you achieve amazing results, whilst at the same time – working as part of the Global Goals team, to make the world a better place for all.

What are YOUR skin goals

I hope that you can now see how your skin and scar goals are linked to the Global Goals I have chosen to align with.

Feeling confident and happy in your skin undoubtedly has a positive impact on your mental wellbeing, and investing in products and treatments that are right for you, means you’re positively contributing towards our planet, through responsible consumption and reducing waste (plus my skin care and supplement brands have amazing recycling and environmental policies!).
