It’s true ‘It ain’t what you do, it’s the way that you do it!’ HIFU Face Lift treatments have been known to be painful in the past, with other systems. A huge benefit to the Focus Dual HIFU is that it’s virtually pain free.
HIFU stands for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound. The ultrasounds waves are targeting different depths within your skin, heating the tissue to approximately 65 degrees. Your skins response to this is to contract, and in response to this minor controlled trauma, enters a state called ‘dermal remodelling’, where an increase in collagen and elastin is triggered. This is how you get a tightened, lifted result from your treatments.
Where Lynton’s have added some magic, is with their targeted transducer (the bit that focuses the ultra sound), this ensures that the heat is targeted into the deeper layers of your skin, without heating and damaging the surrounding tissue.
