Kindred Spirits Choir

I am delighted that Kindred Spirits Choir are next in my SPOTLIGHT series for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October!

The Kindred Spirits Choir is formed of a group of very brave people who have all undergone, or are undergoing, treatment for breast cancer.  The Choir isn’t just about singing (although obviously you will be singing!), it’s also about friendship, support, community and having a good giggle at the same time!

Who can join?

The Choir is open to Ladies who are a sufferer or survivor of breast cancer, and it meets weekly at Cove Methodist Church, 63 Cove Road, Farnborough, GU14 0EX, every Thursday between 19:30 and 21:00. You will be warmly welcomed by the wonderful Jackie, who will instantly put you at ease.     Be prepared for some fun and laughter ladies!

Can’t sing? Don’t worry about that!  I think Jackie would openly admit to you that she’s not blessed with the vocals of an angel, so singing isn’t a skill you need to possess.  You just need to be prepared to get involved and have fun with the other ladies there.  Singing is an incredibly powerful and you’d be amazed at how wonderful and uplifted you’ll feel afterwards.   We can’t guarantee that you won’t take this new found passion into your every day life though…..so warn your friends and family if you’re not blessed with the singing ability of Catherine Jenkins!

Kindred Spirits Choir CONCERT 26th October!

Now this is exciting and an opportunity for you all to support and experience the Choir. They have their very FIRST concert on the 26th October at the Baptist Church.  The Major or Surrey will be in attendance and Rushmoor Male Voice Choir will be making a guest appearance!  Please support the wonderful ladies at Kindred Spirits Choir in any way you can.   What a wonderful and uplifting support group!

Visit their Facebook page here, and come and join us! https://www.facebook.com/KindredSpiritsChoir/
